Titanium by David Guetta ft. Sia
French DJ David Guetta made a new song recently with Australian song artist Sia Furler that gained lots of attention and popularity in a short period of time. The song is called “Titanium” and it’s played regularly on the radio, it has a large number of online views from various sites, and overall it’s just a very popular song. Other contributors to the song included Giorgio Tuinfort and Afrojack, who are popular in the music world and music business as well. David Wilson, acclaimed director, was the one who directed the music video for “Titanium” for the artists.
The video starts off in a school when there’s suddenly an emergency and all the teachers and professors must close their doors to the threat. There is still one child, a young boy played by actor Ryan Lee, who must run back to his home to avoid the threat of the SWAT team that came after him after the incident happened at the school. He has supernatural powers and his powers were the big reason that the school was destroyed. He must run through the woods in order to reach his home. Soon after that, the SWAT team arrives at his home and he has to run out the back door. While the SWAT team is looking around for him, they see some of the boy’s toys hovering in the air all by themselves and they are amazed.
The end of the video shows how the SWAT team have surrounded him in the woods so that he couldn’t run anymore, and then as by magic, he disappears in a flash of light. The official video was filmed in Quebec and in Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac at a school named Dorval High School. The video made its debut in late December of 2011.
The song’s lyrics are about how people need to find their strength from within, which is a message that touches thousands of people everyday, so it was prudent that they made that subject the theme of the video and song itself. The song has shown up on many top different playlists around the world and in many different cultures.
