May 2013 saw the release of the new and sensational single from pop diva Jennifer Lopez called Live it Up. The soul and dance track features US rap and hip hop artist Pit Bull. The song was written by a team of well known songwriters within the dance industry and includes Red One, Alexander Papaconstantinous, Bjorn Djupstrom, Victor Svenson, Pit Bull, Achraff Januzzi, and Bilall “The Chieftain” Haji.
It is the third time that Jennifer Lopez has got together with Pit Bull for a duet. The single has been touted by critics as a strong contender for the number one spot during the months of July and August 2013. The music video that accompanies the song was filmed in France, and the scene is set with Lopez shopping centre-stage at a high powered fashion arena.
Occasionally the video pans off to the seclusion of a beach where warm sands and gentle sea breezes go hand in hand with the music. The dance scenes in the video were choreographed by Kasper Smarter and directed by Jessie Terrerro. In the video Lopez is seen being pampered by a number of assistants and fashions make up artists. She is also seen wearing an ice wrist watch and designer sunglasses.
Lopez then places her sunglasses back into her case and the video focuses on several women getting their hair styled by a number of male hair stylists. Pit Bull meanwhile begins to take centre stage with his rapping flanked by a number of swim suited women drinking cocktails. Lopez is then seen being attended to by a male make-up artist. Then Lopez is seen on stage with a number of other models, still on the catwalk. A number of photographers and paparazzi are training their lenses on Lopez throughout her catwalk where she is seen wearing a black dress made from huge feathers.
In the next scene Lopez is seen being flanked by two model dancers, who like her, are wearing thigh length black leather boots. All the while a small team of fashion producers and assistants are watching her performance in awe. She is seen wearing a number of outfits while strolling up and down the catwalk, including a vivacious red costume with frilly arms. The scenes on the beach complete the video while several members of a party dance side by side with Pit Bull.
