You should check out the new video from Wisin and Yandel, the immensely successful reggaeton duo out of Puerto Rico. The video is off their Lideres album and it is for their new single entitled ‘Algo Me Gusta De Ti’ and it was directed by Jessy Terrero. The title translates in English to “Something about you.” The video features superstar R&B artists Chris Brown and T-Payne.
The intro was a revealing expose into shifting racial dynamics between Latino and White Americans, showcasing a Caucasian “pool boy” being verbally berated by his Latino employer. Wisely the action does not tread these more serious waters for long as the gangly geeky pool boy strips off his shirt and starts dancing to the opening strains of the ‘Algo Me Gusta De Ti.”
This video was shot in conjunction with the 2012 BET Music awards and features bevies of Latina beauties dancing and partying. There is beer pong being played, beautiful girls disrobing and plenty of shots of the artists and party goers enjoying Nuvo, which described as the world’s first sparkling liquor. They even play spin the bottle with the signature pink product!
Wisin and Yandel are already firmly established as Spanish-language stars, but this is their first single to be released in English. There are two versions of the video, one in each language. The guest features perform in English. The party scene in the video is beautifully shot, high energy, and incredibly fun. The stars rock fly clothing and flash gorgeous iced-out jewelry. Their killer ensembles and fun lively attitudes help them shine in the crowd scenes and in the dance sequence that Chris Brown performs is amazing. His talent really shines through his physical moves as well as through his vocal talents. The video is Wisin and Yandel – Algo Me Gusta De Ti ft. Chris Brown, T-Pain and you would be a fool to miss out on this video. It is hot and the single is going to be huge, and not just with the Spanish language crowd, but with everyone who loved up-beat pop hits that are totally danceable.
